Hand-Drawn Wall for a Baby Stroller Fashion Show – Gdańsk

drawing, print

About

This project was created for Mama i ja, a well-known baby store in Gdańsk, which organized a stroller fashion show in October 2024. The event was held in-store, and the central visual element was to be a large wall that would serve as the backdrop for the entire presentation. The wall needed to highlight the strollers during the show while creating a strong visual connection to the local identity of Gdańsk.

Challenge

The main challenge was to design a backdrop that would remain visually subtle enough not to overpower the strollers on display, yet strong enough to create atmosphere and act as a unique visual anchor for the event. Additionally, the wall had to visually reference the city of Gdańsk in a way that was elegant, modern, and not too literal—something that would resonate both with local guests and visitors unfamiliar with the city's visual heritage.
