Marta Potulska is a Vienna-based violist recognized internationally for her expressive, elevated performances of classical repertoire. She approached me to design a complete visual identity and digital presence that would reflect her artistry and sophistication. The scope of work included a website, business cards, social media visuals, and concert brochures — all intended to capture the emotional and visual language of her music.

The goal was to create a digital identity that embodies the refined world of classical music while highlighting Marta’s individuality and stage presence. The design needed to communicate both her artistic depth and her professional versatility, appealing to concert organizers, collaborators, and audiences alike. We aimed for a timeless, black-and-white aesthetic - elegant and minimalist, inspired by the formal attire of the concert hall and the timeless elegance of the viola.

Our process began with in-depth workshops and competitor analysis, during which we explored Marta’s artistic vision, target audience, and positioning within the international classical music scene. These conversations helped us define the emotional tone of the brand - poised, expressive, and graceful. We also planned a dedicated photoshoot, designed to capture the intimate, introspective atmosphere of Marta’s performances. The imagery became a central visual element of her brand narrative.

The resulting identity translates the spirit of Marta’s music into a refined digital experience. We selected ornamental serif typefaces that echo the sophistication of classical concert programs, paired with a restrained monochrome palette to emphasize contrast, clarity, and emotional depth. The website structure was carefully designed for effortless navigation - allowing visitors to seamlessly explore Marta’s biography, repertoire, upcoming concerts, and contact information.

The outcome is a harmonious and elegant visual system that mirrors Marta’s artistry — refined yet approachable, classic yet contemporary, and deeply attuned to the emotional resonance of her music.
